Inspired by the Japanese Azuma bag, our reversible bag is handcrafted from utility cotton fabrics, which are hand dyed with natural, botanical materials. It has wide handles and a functional pocket to keep essentials close to hand. This bag is designed with fully lined interior making it sturdy for everyday use.
Plant-dyed fabrics and embroidery threads from marigold and cosmo, acorn, onion skin, logwood chip, madder root and cutch.
All new materials. Each handmade piece is one-of-a-kind with unique pattern and color.

hand dye + hand stitch
All natural cotton fabrics, embroidery threads and wood beads are hand dyed in my home studio using cosmo flowers grown in my summer garden; acorns foraged from Northeastern Masschusetts forests and other botanical dye stuffs madder roots, cutch and logwood. Beautiful colors from natural reconnects us to daily life and inner self through humble handwork.
